| Hi everyone!! My name is Tim aka Alwyshntn2 and I am very fortunate to be a part of this great thing called Missouri Outdoor Experience (MOE). I come from a small town of 300+ in Central, MO. I was raised on the family farm and enjoyed hunting and fishing every free chance I got. My dad was a very busy man making a living working the family farm to provide for me and my 4 other brothers and sisters. He did not have a lot of time to devote to teaching me the ins and outs of hunting but did take me when he got the chance. Lucky for me there was an older fella that lived about a mile and a half or so as the crow flys through the woods from my house that just fished and hunted every free minute. I would hurry home from school everyday and get done what was on order and out the door I went to hike the woods to his house. The time I spent outdoors with him just cemented my love for the outdoors everyday. Without someone around to introduce me to all the fun that could be had spending time outdoors I wonder if my likes and hobbies might be different today. That is why I believe in why MOE is here and the mission it has set for itself and me. I had the great privilege of having a younger brother that I was able to pass along all I have learned about the outdoors. My fondest memories are of times spent w/ him hunting and taking his first deer. I wanted to be someone he could look up to and that made me want to be a better person and outdoorsman. He has since grown up and has maybe passed me is some areas afield, so I would like the opportunity to continue to pass along the knowledge I have acquired over the years. Taking in every scent, sight, and glorious adventure that the outdoors has to offer is spectacular and I can not imagine a child or new outdoor enthusiast not having the opportunity to enjoy it. I hope that I can give back just a portion of the joy the outdoors has given me. Tim (Alwyshntn2) |
