Howdy every one, my name is Tony Hancock. I currently call Fulton, Missouri home. I have an amazing, wonderful wife, Jill, and a beautiful daughter Madison.

I was born and raised in the beautiful Southern Missouri Ozark Hills.
For as long as I can remember my grandparents were the two people that served as parent figures and role models in my life. Being raised on a beef cattle farm the outdoors was a big part of that life.  Besides normal farm work, Grandpa taught me much about hunting, fishing and caring for the land that the good Lord allows us to use.

My grandfather was instrumental in sparking my interest with hunting and fishing. One of my earliest memories was the day I got to skip school in the first grade to go with him during the Crappie spawn and fish Truman Lake.  As the years progressed and I graduated from following him through the hickory trees with my bb gun looking for squirrels, to being old enough to go out on my own with my two prized redbone coon hounds, to climbing mountains in CO looking for a bull elk.

Although I still consider my self young I have been very blessed to hunt many different animals and catch several different kinds of fish in several states as well as multiple trips to Canada. I enjoy all methods of hunting and haven’t found any species that isn’t worthy of the chase. My obsession is old turkey calls which I collect. I tinker from time to time with fly fishing, love to go gigging and snagging, and will never turn down a crappie fishing trip. Who would have ever thought one could have so much fun and make so many memories as a result of a single day of Crappie fishing.

The journey and list of things left to do in this life is still long. It is also an ever changing list, as I age I have found the reason Granddad took me fishing, about two years ago I took my nieces out to a farm pond fishing for blue gill each of them were lucky enough to catch a good sized bass, and let me tell you watching them fight the fish and get it on the bank, then inspect every line and spot on the fish, and finally smile from ear to ear tops the joy of any thing I can remember.

Sure I still spend a lot of time hunting on my own but the time with family, friends and especially with kids is what truly makes this sport we call hunting and fishing enjoyable.
It has become a goal to make the most of every opportunity I can to pass on the skills, knowledge, and love for the outdoors that I have acquired in my life.

MOE has given me one of those opportunities to pass it on and you can bet money on the fact I am going to make the most of it. I as well as the other staff here at MOE plan to do great things with the help of some of the “seasoned members”.  If you’re new to the Outdoors you have found the right place to be, please take advantage of the opportunities that we provide for you I guarantee it will be the best thing you ever do.
