Hi, my name is Jarrod Pantaleo…but you can call me JarJar! I live in Boonville, just west of Columbia, with my wife, Stephanie.

My Father was in the military, so I got a “late start” into the hunting and fishing world.  After the many moves, we ended up in NE Missouri, where both sides of my family originated.  And this is where my adventures with the great MO outdoors began!

My addiction for the outdoors stems back to my Father and my Uncle, as they allowed me to tag along and hunt/fish with them.  I can still remember my Uncle teaching me how to field dress my first deer, just like it was yesterday.  After a few seasons with a rifle, I quickly became addicted to archery.  And even killed a mature doe during that first archery season!

2006 was a record year for me.  I hunted my first spring turkey season and filled both my tags!  I got a new bow and shot 3 deer with it, as well as 2 deer with a rifle. However, none of that is as memorable as getting the chance to pass on my knowledge to one of my younger brothers.  As we hunted together, I realized that the best part of the outdoors is sharing it with those that will be the future of Missouri outdoors.  And because of that I am proud to be a part of MOE!
