I'm Russell, I've been an avid outdoorsman my entire life. I grew up on a farm where we raised cattle, hogs, and row crops. As a kid I was always outside and my dad would take me fishing as early as 3 years old. I then started hunting with him as early as 5; he used to let me go with him squirrel, rabbit, and coon hunting. So it’s always been a part of my life and I've always been taught to give back to the outdoors as much as possible.

I'm married to the most wonderful lady in the world who doesn't mind that I spend a lot of time in the woods year around and I've have a niece and nephew that I enjoy passing along the rich tradition of the outdoors too. My nephew Sam will get to participate in his 1st turkey hunt this year and I'm not sure which one of us is more excited. Its fun to see a person experience mother nature for their first time and knowing I got the chance to share it with them is extremely rewarding. That’s what makes this site so wonderful because each and everyone has the same strong passion and desire to pass along something the will last a lifetime.
